In Response to the COVID-19 and safety measures we are taking on Greene County Transit to take precautions and avoid exposure to the Coronavirus.
Our vehicles will be sanitized and disinfected before and after all runs in all high risk areas of vehicles and passenger areas as recommended by the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This includes, but is not limited to the following:
Seats and handrails;
Fare boxes;
Door handles and push plates;
Handles on equipment (e.g., wheelchairs);
Steering wheels and driver areas;
Interior and exterior door handles;
Disinfecting spray will be used at the end of each run;
All drivers must wash their hands before and after each run.
