Florence (Flo) Gombert

It is with our deepest regret and sympathy that we announce the passing of our long-time employee and friend Florence (Flo) Gombert. Flo passed away unexpectedly, during the early morning of Sunday, January 28, 2024.

Flo was our Transportation Supervisor in the Catskill Transportation Department, located in Greene County. She had a very big job taking care of operations for our Arc Mid-Hudson Day Hab Transportation and our Greene County Transit public transit system. Flo started with our agency on September 02, 1999. She loved working with the individuals and furthered her career into the position of Transportation Supervisor. Without hesitation, Flo has accomplished many certifications throughout her career to ensure she could provide the best service to the people we support. With her help and exceptional drive, she became a crucial part of making our Arc Mid-Hudson Day Hab Transportation and Greene County Transit systems successful. Visitors, individuals, auditors and coworkers have complimented her in work with our agency. Flo has very large shoes to fill in the agency and will be missed dearly.
